Introduction

Asian-American Psychological Services exists to serve the community professionally using a culturally competent and linguistically specific approach to bring about emotional and psychological recovery through the principles relevant to Asian cultures.

Mission
The mission of interpersonal reconciliation, through the wisdom found in the teachings of Asian-American traditional family values of Confucius ethics will be used to provide sensitivity in relationship recoveries between people and generations. The immigrant mind-set and the Asian-American experience are key issues that have adversely impacted marriages, parenting and respect between the gender are critical areas of conflict. This service is to provide the expertise to reduce on-going pain and to prevent future sufferings through education and training.

Purpose

We exist to provide the highest level of clinical care possible to relief emotional pain. We are invested in on-going prevention education through seminars and workshops as well as graduate-level  teaching in colleges and universities around the world.

Our goal is to equip people-helpers with the newest knowledge and technology in culturally-sensitive counseling and psychology.
